About RYAN NELSON:

Ryan Nelson is the owner of an award winning production company and marketing studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. Ryan left his life as an attorney at a young age to pursue his passion in the creative world.

He has numerous film festival awards and marketing accolades and likes to specialize in short form video production for brands. Ryan has a unique run & gun/improvisational approach when it comes to his productions, and he loves to utilize comedy in his work. When he is not creating marketing material or directing behind a camera, Ryan can be found skydiving in Eloy, Arizona.

Participants will take part in a Lecture/Q & A/Scene shot and directed by Ryan - footage included to participants of Director Series.

About ANTHONY UMINA:

Anthony Umina was born and raised near Boston MA. As an adult, lived in Austin Texas and was a member of the Austin Film Society. 
Later, Anthony moved to Brooklyn NY, where he founded a production company in Greenpoint Brooklyn.   He worked on:

• Music videos

• Commercials

• Online advertisements for Instagram

• Videos for a high-end French restaurant in Manhattan

While in New York City, he produced an independent film that was screened in downtown Manhattan and is currently available on Amazon Prime.  He has produced everything from short 30-second social media ads to full-scale feature-film productions.  HIGHLY EXPERIENCED!

Participants will take part in a Lecture/Q & A/Scene shot and directed by Anthony - footage included to participants of Director Series.

About CHRIS BLACKFORD:

Chris Blackford is a producer, writer, and director who has been working in the industry for 5 years after he went back to school for his Film Production degree at age 35.

 

He is currently a producer for a marketing company in Phoenix whose clients range from local to global in scale.

 

He’s worked on projects with no budget to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

 

He is currently working on his first feature film.

 

Participants will take part in a Lecture/Q & A/Scene shot and directed by Chris - footage included to participants of Director Series.

With: MITESH PATEL

About MITESH PATEL:

Mitesh Patel graduated from S.P University (India) with a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Applied Arts) in 1997, with the highest distinction of  earning the Best Design Award. In 2008, Patel made his first low budget feature film "The man in the maze" which received 12 awards from various film festivals and theatrical distribution. It wasn’t long before Patel started acquiring film rights for theatrical re-release in North America.

 

One of these films, "Delhi Safari", was shortlisted in the Oscar race of 2012. Patel has directed two feature films and has produced/distributed over 20 feature films in the past 15 years, balancing his time between Hollywood and Bollywood. Patel is also a part of PGA, the Producers Guild of America.

 

Today, he plans to keep creating art by producing one film every year.  Mitesh is also the Founder and Director of The Chandler International Film Festival.
