Scene Study Acting Class – Master the Art of Performance

In our Scene Study Class, you’ll explore the nuances of great scripts and discover what it takes to bring characters to life with authenticity, emotional truth, and stage presence. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn or an experienced performer ready to refine your skills, this class gives you the tools to elevate your work!

 

Through hands-on scene work, you’ll break down scripts beat-by-beat, uncover subtext, and identify your character’s objectives, obstacles, and relationships. You’ll learn how to approach a scene with a professional actor’s mindset — from script analysis to in-the-moment connection — while developing the emotional depth and vulnerability that make performances unforgettable.

Script & Scene Analysis –

Dissect the text to understand structure, pacing, and intention.

 

Character Development –

Build layered, 3-dimensional characters with clear motivations.

 

Emotional Truth –

Access & express genuine emotion without forcing .

This is a supportive, collaborative environment where you’ll be challenged to take risks, explore new choices, and grow through constructive feedback. You’ll work with the top instructor who is also a professional, working actor, Sean Dillingham, bringing real-world insight from stage, film, and television into every lesson.
